Once you’ve installed the Unlimited Carry Weight plugin, you will be pleased to know that there are other benefits as well. First off, this mod makes it easier for you to travel with all your loot if you wish, as it no longer weighs down your inventory or backpack. Furthermore, you will be able to carry more than 200 units of weight (we’re talking hundreds rather than dozens here), which means that the game is much less linear. This means that you can venture further away from the main quest line and get lost in areas where there are no quest markers, simply because you can carry so much. Why Is This Mod So Popular? If you’ve played Skyrim before, it will come as no surprise to learn that there are many people who enjoy travelling through areas with unrealistic weight restrictions. Some of these people simply cannot tolerate the fact that they can only carry 50 units of weight in real life when it seems like they’re carrying more than that.
